Victor Professional is made in the USA with no outsourcing. This food has the perfect balanced nutrition for all age groups. Victor does not sell to big box stores, so one of the best places for you to get your pups food is chewy.com, AND they deliver to your home. It is also available at high-end pet stores and Big R stores. We start feeding our pups at 3 weeks.

3 weeks: they start with ground kibble, Greek yogurt, goat’s milk and canned pumpkin. And powdered Nu Vet

5 weeks: they are fed softened kibble, yogurt, pumpkin and Nu Vet

8 weeks they are fed kibble and Nu Vet

Our older poodles over 6 months are fed Victor Professional along with canned beef, tuna or salmon. We also include salmon oil and Nu Vet wafers.

Here at Waggin Tails, we free-feed our older poodles and puppies. However, when our puppies are with us, they do have access to a doggy door at all times. If you do not have a doggy door, you will need to take your puppy’s food up around 3 p.m.

We start grooming our pups at 3 weeks — face, feet and tail. At four weeks they get their first bath and every week thereafter, they are bathed and groomed. So they are very accustomed to clipper sounds and being bathed. I suggest that you brush your puppy every day. You do not need to bathe or clip them as much as we do; we just do that so they are accustomed to it.

All of the puppies are handled every day, going through stimulation as if they were going to be doing service work. This, of course, changes with age and ability.

Our moms have their own area with their pups that include indoor and outdoor play areas. Moms are with their pups 24-7 until around 6 weeks; at that time they go back and forth as they please.

Our poodle palace is cleaned every day, 365 days a year. Everyday chores are sweeping and mopping all floors. Cleaning all walls, beds, blankets, dishes, dusting, cleaning windows. Brushing all of the poodles. All poop is cleaned up as much as needed every day. Ball and play time for at least 2 hours. Along with ‘love me’ time and singing time. They like country music.

Every 2 weeks, all walls and floors are steamed along with everything in their grooming room, including tub, grooming table, their washer and dryer.

We have a large greeting area where the poodles can play and watch training videos. We also have indoor agility equipment for all puppy ages.

We are AKC and State certified and inspected every year. I believe this is very important in choosing a breeder. It gives you the peace of mind of knowing your puppy’s wellbeing is being looked after by many people.

Our puppies come with the following:

•  Baby blanket with smell of siblings and mom
